I'll admit that I was a little late in the game of getting into Pink Floyd. I always knew that they were an extremely important band, but it took me a while to finally give them a fair chance. I started off with Dark Side of the Moon, which you may be familiar with. But it wasn't until I heard this album that I got reeled in. Everything that makes Pink Floyd so great is in this album. From the deeply hypnotic soundscapes to the unlimited array of sound effects, this album will draw you in like few others will be able to. Listening to this album is like entering an audio art gallery for the ears, with brilliant showcases of musical exploration unlike anything that came out before it, and what so many bands have tried to sound like after it.

Key Tracks:
Shine On You Crazy Diamond (Parts I-V)
Welcome to the Machine
Wish You Were Here

Final Verdict: 9.8
