It's ironic that a blind man could make one of the most visionary albums of the 70s. Innervisions expresses Stevie's vision
on many controversial issues of the time, including drugs, spirituality, and politics. Of course, there are also some great
love songs that tone down the seriousness of the material a bit ("Golden Lady", "All In Love Is Fair").
The songs' styles vary from incredibly affective and soulful pieces to some of the funkiest you'll ever hear. The foot-stomping
"Living For the City" will always be one of my favorites, where Stevie takes the narrative in telling the story
of injustice in urban areas in a 7 minute saga of musical expertise. Wonder's vocals are a major component to his musical
legend. This soul masterpiece not only ranks among his career best, but among the most important albums ever.
