Debatably The Beatles greatest album, Revolver is a bold, astonishing, and groundbreaking album. It signified the beginnings of The Beatles success with experimental songwriting. The Beatles explored new sonic territory with songs unlike anything they'd ever written before. The abnormal yet successful use of Indian influence in Harrison's "Love You To" and the psychedelia of "Tomorrow Never Knows" are just a couple of examples of this. The songwriting that went into each one of these songs is both terrific and spellbinding. Revolver is filled with an abundance of absolutely classic pop tunes. From the beautiful "Here, There, and Everywhere", to Ringo's playful "Yellow Submarine", to the phenomenally orchestrated "Eleanor Rigby", this album is a perfect exhibition of why the Beatles are almost unanimously claimed as being the greatest band of all time by critics and fans worldwide. Revolver's influence on modern pop will permeate through the world of music for decades to come.
