Don't let this Death Cab pass you by...Sorry, that was pretty bad. But seriously, this is a fantastic album from a band that is finally beginning to get the praise that they deserve. Transatlantism is a departure from the pure indie-pop that previously characterized the band's sound. It's their most focused and conceptual album to date, with themes that center on the effects of separation and our persistence to be together. Despite a couple of skipable tracks, this album has a surprisingly large number of great tracks.
